There are many interesting things to see and do around Churcham. Some of these are in the Forest of Dean to the west, and in the nearby city of Gloucester to the east.

Go Ape has giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and to top it all off, the country’s best zip lines and a beautiful location. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.
Worship has taken place in this wonderful building for 900 years and it continues as a place of prayer and Christian pilgrimage.
This old Norman hunting lodge is one of the oldest properties in the Forest of Dean, built by William Duke of Normandy to keep his hounds when he came to hunt the hart in the Forest. The main house and surrounding buildings have been sympathetically restored and incorporate the region’s principal creative centre for traditional crafts and interiors.
