There are many interesting things to see and do around Churcham. Some of these are in the Forest of Dean to the west, and in the nearby city of Gloucester to the east.
For local attractions across the county go to Great Days Out.

Go Ape

Go Ape has giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and to top it all off, the country’s best zip lines and a beautiful location. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it’s just great fun.

Gloucester Cathedral

Worship has taken place in this wonderful building for 900 years and it continues as a place of prayer and Christian pilgrimage.

Harts Barn Craft Centre

This old Norman hunting lodge is one of the oldest properties in the Forest of Dean, built by William Duke of Normandy to keep his hounds when he came to hunt the hart in the Forest. The main house and surrounding buildings have been sympathetically restored and incorporate the region’s principal creative centre for traditional crafts and interiors.

Dick Whittington Farm Park

The farm is full of interesting animals, fascinating wildlife and exciting activities! Visit the pets corner and help the farm hands feed the animals or, if you like running around, check out the indoor or outdoor play areas.
