About Churcham

churcham-church-picture-300x225Churcham is a small village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean District of Gloucestershire in England, located 4 miles (6.4 km) west of Gloucester. It has a population of approximately 650.

Churcham has a flourishing community school – Churcham Primary School, the school has 2 classes and provides education for children from ages 3 – 11.

There are a number of businesses situated in Churcham and the surrounding area. Churcham Business Park, completed in April 2004, provides a base for several of these.

Churcham is also an ideal countryside location for visiting the Vale of Leadon, The Forest of Dean and the city of Gloucester. The main attraction of the village is the church of St Andrew, which is one of the most distinctive church buildings in the area.
